SmartLook contact lenses offers a wide palette of beautiful colors, which you can in the Dreameyez Color Studio. Once you’ve made your color selection, visit your eye care professional and ask for the preferred type

What if I have a strong prescription?
We offer the widest range of color contact lenses available. Ask your eye care professional if color contacts are available in your prescription.

What if I have perfect vision?
SmartLook color contact lenses are also available for people who don’t need vision correction. But because contact lenses are considered a medical device by the FDA, they require an exam, fitting, and prescription by an eye care professional even if you have perfect vision. We provide free* trial contacts to eye care professionals, making it easy for you to try on different colors to decide which one you like best.

Do color contact fade over time?
No, the color does not fade.

Do you see things in color when you wear color contacts?
No. SmartLook color contact lenses will change your eye color, but will not affect how you see colors.

Can I swim while wearing my contact lenses?
Consult the eye care professional about wearing contact lenses while swimming. Alcon recommends the use of protective goggles while swimming with contacts. Swimming while wearing contact lenses without wearing protective goggles could lead to an infection in the eyes, which if left untreated could lead to a scar on your eye, or in rare cases, loss of vision. Contact lenses are porous and may absorb chemicals, microbes, or other impurities in the water, which may harm or irritate your eyes and possibly lead to an infection. Additionally, lenses can stick on or easily fall off the eye and get lost if the eyes are opened under water.

Is it ok to play sports while wearing contact lenses?
Wearing soft contact lenses for sports provides a more flexible and stable form of visual correction than spectacles. Contacts do not fog up and do not slide down your nose. Contacts contribute to optimal sports performance, providing better peripheral vision than glasses to help give you better sports results! Additionally, contact lenses can be worn with regular sunglasses. Remember, however, that contact lenses are not a substitute for protective eyewear.
